課外活動是學生成才的雨露陽光
育中在實踐五育並重的教育理念，積極推動學生參與課外活動．課外活動之所以重要，乃因為課內教學是集體進行的，是整齊劃一的，很難適應每一個學生的興趣、愛好和特長．為了發展學生多方面的興趣，使每個學生的特長有所發揮，組織和提供各種各樣的課外活動，正是滿足育中學生發展需要的最佳途徑．
本校的課外活動的特點是內容豐富多采，形式靈活多樣，有利于學生發展興趣，發揮特長，生動活潑地成長．我們可以這麼說，課堂教學課程和課外活動課程，是學校教育不可或缺的兩翼，課外活動對于培養和發展學生的智能，很多時候確能做到課堂教學所起不到的作用．

The English Society was first established during the 80’s. The purpose of setting up the society is to uplift the standard of English of our school. Initially, not many of the students joining the society. Therefore, there were only a handful of members.
A variety of activities are organized for our members to participate. There are outdoor and indoor activities Outdoor activities include treasure hunt, mini-sport, meeting, and picnic. These activities are aimed to build up the members physically, whereas, activities such as playing scrabble, and solving crossword puzzle are targeted to uplift the mentality of our members.
The members come together every Saturday morning for our activities to learn and explore together. We hope that in the near future the English Society will be able to continue to grow.
